Hi
834707 is the October 2004 Cumulative Security Update for IE:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec.../ms04-038.mspx
Try 889293 instead (December 2004 Cumulative Security Update for IE) and see if
it helps.
You can download and install the update manually from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec.../ms04-040.mspx
If that doesn't help either:
If you manually download and install 889669, does it start to
work better then?
An update rollup is available for Internet Explorer 6 SP1
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=889669
(889669 includes MS04-040/889293 + some additional non-security
related updates)
Note:
If 889669 fixes the problem, next time Microsoft releases a cumulative
update for Internet Explorer, you may experience the problem again.
Then you will need to download a newer version of the IE update rollup
(that includes the new cumulative update + some additional
non-security related updates). Note that the IE update rollups are
not delivered through Windows Update.
