I did something better. I created a totally brand new User in Win2k.
Then I logged off my usual user and logged in as the new user.
Then I opened OE and set the account details to my IMAP account. Again,
no dice. After a few headlines are downloaded, the connection timeouts.
Regarding using the Inbox and sent, I was trying to keep all my e-mail on
the IMAP server. I am switching between linux and microsoft frequently and
I would rather keep a single mail repository. That is why I am using IMAP.
My server on my LAN fetches my email from my isp account and I can see it
from my PC (sometimes it is in Linux mode, sometimes it is in Windows mode)
