After clicking on the Yellow shield, it installed everything "successfully"
and when it REBOOTED - It froze and would not boot (for over an hour). The
red light is on (but not flashing). I have XP-2 on a home network (2 laptops
are attached via Netgear Wireless Router) with cable modem. I had to boot to
safe mode (with network) to restore to before I did this and it booted fine.
I tried this TWICE - same thing. I even turned off the laptops and tried to
install - won't boot. Needless to say - I have the install shield again with
updates ready - So now what do I do????? There are no error messages - I
suspect there is a NETWORK problem of some kind but without the download,
everything is fine.

I am also having problems with this update. I install it, get a message
saying install successful, and then I get another yellow shield telling me
the same update is there for me to download. If I manually do it through
the website - again successful completion and install, but I still get the
prompt to download it - its maddening and I have turned the automatic
downloads off

I ignored the shield and went right to the site and downloaded and it
installed correctly. I WAS able to boot properly after that so I figure
something got corrupted with the files the shield downloaded. Shouldn't work
that way......

Yes - I did that too- said it was installed correctly, yet when I go to
the manual download site again to check for any other downloads (because I
have turned off automatic downloads), then the same download comes up again
for me to install. ?????
