KB884020 installation doesn't show in add/remove programs

Windows update does not detect the need for this after SP2 is installed. I
manually dl'ed and installed but it does not show up in add/remove programs
for some reason. SP2 installation removed all of the old KB installed
programs that were apparently superceeded by SP2. Shouldn't KB884020 show up
as an installed program?

When installing Windows XP SP2 you get the option to Show Updates in the Add
Remove Programs Window. If there is a check in this box you will not see
updates in the list. Uncheck this option if it is listed. As for the earlier
updates you can see which were previously installed by looking in the
C:\Windows folder (if this is where Windows XP is installed) and you will
see several folders that start with $NtUninstall. These are installed
updates.
