I have tried to download this "fix" from Windows Updates dozens of times.
This is the error I get:
SL 80 tmp - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services >
Application has generated an exception that could not be handled
Process id=0X80 (2080), Thread id = 0X600 (1536) ok to terminate/cancel to
debug

I then went here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/r...DisplayLang=en
& downloaded it from there. When I tried to open it I got this error
message:

sl 38.tmp common language runtime debugging services>
process id=xX374 (884), thread id=0X 370 ok to terminate cancel to debug
I clicked cancel & got this message:
sl38./tmp no debugger found > I clicked cancel & got this message:

Registered JIt debugger is not avaiable an attempt to launch a jit debugger
with the following command resulted in an error code of 0x2. please check
computer settings corbg.exe!a 0x374 click retry or cancel> I clicked cancel

I did this 4 times & the sl error number changes, I presume this has
something to do with it being a tmp file.

I went here to try to figure out what to do.

Lots of info, but not sure what to do. This is a bit over my head. I have
not been too worried since my computer is working fine. However this is
really becoming annoying. Can anyone tell me what to do? or, how I can ask
this ? in a blog? Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply. I had already read all this info. But I am still
a little leary, since I a not sure what I am doing. I should go start> run>
then click on the WU.exe that I downloaded & is now in my download file?
then type this> c:\dotnet\netfxhotfix.msp, or will this just pop up when I
click on the exe.? TIY
