KB890830

I have KB 890830 installed. Periodically I get a notice to install an
update. I look at the update and it is already successfully installed. I
have 3 instances of the February download installed and 2 March downloads
installed and a notice this morning that it is trying to install March for
the 3rd time. What should I do. I have tried shutting all my anti virus,
firewalls, etc. but nothing seems to help. Is there a way to uninstall the
whole program? I am tired to seeing this update info almost every morning
when I already have it on the computer.

KB890830 is constantly updated at M/S and, therefore, a refresh install
is recommended on a monthly basis. After each refresh, provided your
updates are recorded properly in Settings/ControlPanel/Programs, you
won't see a need for another update until the next monthly cycle.

I think this month, the detection for 890830 is flawed.

I have automatic approval on for two test groups, but otherwise this
update has not been approved.

The detection shows I have this installed in hundreds of PC's which
have not had this patch approved. Some of these include PC's which do
not have Internet access, so that eleminates them going to the web
and downloading them.

I show 182 machines having the April 4/11 version installed. I know
that only around 20 could possible have it installed.

I connected to one of the servers which show it installed. This
server is set to manual. It is awaiting to install the MARCH version
of this update, yet has not at this time. The last automatic update
occured over a week ago. Yet WSUS states the April is installed.
