Installing the recent KB892842 in Norwegian Office 2000 (on previously fully
patched systems) triggers a previous update to appear in consecutive update
scans. The update is this one (no KB number found):
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=no (replace "=no" with your favourite language)

Installing this old update seems to complete successfully, but it still
appears on later update scans. BTW, the "no CD" version of KB892842 DID
require the original CD (which was located in the back of my closet, thus I
tried the no-CD version).

The same behaviour is found on two different systems, with only similarity
being (Norwegian) Office 2000. The systems are running Win2K and WinXP
respectively, and have been through completely unsynchronized updates
previously.

Same thing happened here. Applied the patch for 892842 and the one for
811167 came up afterwards.
