I have the same problem, but for both POP3 (Gmail) and HTTP (Hotmail) servers.
Installing the update causes Outlook to be unable to access either server.
Uninstalling the update causes Outlook to be able to access both servers.
I have tried "Detect and Repair", deleting and recreating the email
accounts, uninstalling and reinstalling the update each time, but always with
the same outcome.
Any ideas on how to install the update without rendering the POP3/HTTP
server connections unuseable within Outlook 2003?
