KB896358 failed

We have just done a new install of Windows 2003 Server R2 x64 standard
edition and checked for updates. Of 23 updates, the first one failed.
This is update KB896358. We ran updates again and it failed again.

The error code reported is 0x8007F0DA.

Any ideas how to get this to successfully install?

This specific error indiactes:

The update.inf is not trusted or update.exe could not verify the trust of the INF. or Crypto service is turned off.or catalog database is corrupt (jet errors).

What do I need to do to get this update installed. This is a clean
install of Windows 2003 server on a new box.

Is it dangerous to run my server without this update installed.

You cannot install some updates or programs

When you examine the %systemroot%\Windowsupdate.log file, you may see an entry
for one of the following errors:
