After installation of patch KB896688 IE 6 on windows XP pro, some jsp
page in a frame don't display completely.

If we check the page source, we saw that the page was not downloaded
completely.

If we uninstall the patch, everything come back normally.

Does somebody have a solution ??

Thanks

Any other issues like not able to access the Windows Update site
or beeing not able to install any ActiveX control or system recovery
not working?

If true, see if the following helps:

Download the file OLEfix.zip available here (it is a registry file
that origin from MS Support, and it has fixed the ActiveX problem
for several people, getting this problem after installing KB896688):

http://patch-info.de/IE/Downloads/OLEfix.zip

Extract it and double click the contained OLEfix.reg file. Click Yes
on the dialog box that asks you if you are sure to add the information
in OLEfix.reg to the registry.

You may have to reboot your machine afterwards.

If you don't have those issues, please provide an URL to reproduce
the problem you're seeing.

Bye,
Freudi

A resolve the problem by deleting this row in my page:

<OBJECT ID="beep" CLASSID="java:java.awt.Button"
STYLE="display:none"></OBJECT>
