After seeing your other post, " cannot load KB922770 ", suggest you
uninstall .NET Framework 2.0. Reboot, then reinstall it again:

In your first post in this thread you stated that both .NET Framework 1
and the update for it were successfully installed. You neglected to
mention the installation issue with the .ASP .NET Framework update,
KB922770. Apparently, that's the issue.
