KB902400 causing problems

Patch KB902400 is causing problems. Once installed, post reboot, Windows
Updates will fail, Windows Installer errors something similar to not being
installed, and System Information can no longer access Windows Management
something. Uninstalling this patch makes my machine act so much better.
Could not find the patch listed in Control Panel. I had to use the uninstall
string fromt the registry.

Waiting for an updated patch release since this one is a security issue.

This is not an isolated incident.
We have had three servers and five workstations (known so far)
Server also disables administrator from managing IIS and www service will
not start.
Removed that update patch for KB902400 and ALL OK now.
BUT... Not patched any longer.
