Well stranger than fiction. After doing my 16 windows updates I decided I may
as well do Microsoft update and be done with it. So I did that (several
updates there for Office etc) and restarted computer. I couldn't believe when
yet again Automatic updates asked if I wanted to install KB905474 (it was
already downloaded). Especially as I had used option to hide the update. I
hadn't been asked to install this update for months since setting it to
hidden. Anyway I thought I may as well give it a go, so clicked and the thing
installed! The date of it hasn't changed at all. I can only imagine that it
wasn't installed correctly before, or maybe it was but there was a further
update which was prevented from being installed by something (not Kaspersky
since it's set to accept all Microsoft updates). Anyway problem resolved.
