Har Har, clock backwards eh......that would not be entirely surprising
by current apalling standards.
WGA Notify (spyware tool "optional" but a "critical" update obviously.
MVP who actually installed it|? I'd bet on Carey.............8-)
I have totally given up with Windows Updates it is a sick joke and has
cost me huge amounts of time and money recently. Although I run
totally legit MSFT Windows installations I have been forced by this
stupid, misguided WGA fiasco to use alternative methods of getting
updates. MSFT is just totally untrustworthy these days and IMHO
anybody who uses Auto Updates on a critical PC is a bloody lunatic.
I have a test PC with MSAS Beta 1 on it asked permission to upgrade to
the new "improved" version yesterday, Defender I assume - FFS!
