KB908081 Fails to install

I am having problems installing KB908081 on a windows 2003 server (member
server). The error from the log file is below. Any help is appreciated!

Try downloading the update from the links on this page :
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec.../ms06-017.mspx
Save it. Close IE. Temporarily disable the installed Antivirus program.
Now try to install it.
Remember to reenable the AV whether it installs or not.

Thanks for the reponse...
Actually, I did try this earlier before I posted my original message. I
ended up with the same results. I also tried to install the update via
download after stopping the IIS services (as well as AV). Again, same
results.

Ok... Microsoft support was able to fix this issue. They ended up doing a
couple things and I am not exactly sure which one fixed the issue. They used
a utility to clean up some registry settings related to the install of the
Frontpage Server Extensions. They also uninstalled, then reinstalled the
Frontpage server extensions. After the reinstall, the update applied
successfully. In my specific case, I did not have any web sites on this
server using the Frontpage extensions other then a couple of test sites. If
your server hosted sites that did utilize the FP extensions, you would want
to be a lot more careful about using this information. I'd call Microsoft
support and have them step you through the fix.

I was having the same "Setup cannot continue because one or more
prerequisites required to install KB908981 failed."
Stopping IIS & the AV software didn't help. What finally corrected the
problem for my server was reinstalling the
Frontpage Server Extensions and then the Windows update for KB908981
installed without any problems.
