I would venture to say that KB905915 is a potential problem. It can disable
critical features such as accessing the Windows Update site itself, as well
as, disabling Active X contols. Of course this only affects a "minority" of
computers......mainly 98SE and ME, although it has affected other later OS
as well.

I think it might have been a typo - that'd be KB905519 perhaps? I can say
that three XP Pro systems, 1 XP Home system, one Tablet, and one XP Pro
laptop have all been updated and so far none of them have any issues here
though... err... Three of them haven't been rebooted and the tablet hasn't
been restarted. <g> Seriously though, the XP Pro desktop system and the XP
Home desktop system that have gone through it and the laptop and they're
working just fine if that helps.
