Hi,

While I have reviewed the HP/update problems people are having I do not see
"hpgs2wnd.exe or hpgs2wnf" running in the task manager. I have tried applying
the registry fix but it has no affect on my system. Right clicking a empty
spot on my desktop brings up "VERCLSID.EXE " in the task manager and freezes
my system until I end the process.

I do have a HP deskjet printer

Any advise would be appreciated.

The registry changes mentioned in there are done by the REG file
included in the KB908531_Share-To-Web.zip file, which I offer for
those unfamiliar with humbling through the registry, which is the
heart and brain of Windows.

http://patch-info.de/WinXP/Downloads...are-To-Web.zip
Extract the ZIP file and afterwards double click the contained REG
file. Let it import into the registry.

Bye,
Freudi

Thanks...so am I to assume that since I don't see "hpgs2wnd or hpgs2wnf"
running, I don't have HP's "Share-to-web" on my computer and someting else is
causing my system to freeze because of the update?

Thanks, I have already removed the update and everything functions
normal....I was looking for a permanent fix, but will wait.
