KB911280 breaks RRAS call-back functionality

The patch KB911280 from the latest selection breaks RRAS service call-back functionality in Windows 2000 Server SP4.
It happened at least on three servers in our company.

After installing this patch there are messages in the Event Log:
The Remote Access Server's attempt to callback user LTCOM\someuser on port ISDN1-0 at 123456 failed because of the following error: There was no answer. After uninstall

Beware.

I recommend that you raise this as a Support Incident with Microsoft.

I have just experienced similar problems with XP on two machines:
1. Dial out works fine.
2. Dial in works fine.
3. Callback truncates the last digit.
4. The Event Log error is "The phone line is busy"
5. Microsoft do not want to know and will not provide support for an OEM
machine!!!
6. HP haven't a clue what to do :-)
