Since the last Windows Update I can't send or receive email! I just get an
"Unknown Error: 0x8007007F message after each account fails to connect.
In the Email accounts where I can "Test Account Settings..." both "Find
outgoing mail server (SMTP)" and "Find incoming mail server (POP3)" report
"Cancelled".
I've gone through each update and uninstalled each, one by one, rebooted,
then tried Outlook 2003 again
1. I uninstalled KB911562 (XP) that wasn't it
2. I then uninstalled KB911567 (Outlook Express update), rebooted and tried
Outlook 2003 -- it works fine now. When KB911567 was about to uninstall it
said that uninstalling it would affect KB908531 and KB912812
3. I reinstalled KB911562 and Outlook is still working.
Anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas, or is this part of the problems
that folks are having with KB908531?
