KB912812 Automatically closing web pages.

Hello I am a developer and i need help with a program I made for my company's
intranet. This program uses a windows control in a web page to display tiff
images for windows xp machines. The program was working fine until KB912812
was installed on machines, now those machines automatically close all web
browsers when my control is called. This can be fixed by installing
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917425 but I have read that
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917425 is just a temporary fix and the june
update of IE will remove http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917425 so what do I
need to do as a developer to prepare for the june update? I can not seem to
find any information on this. Can someone point me in the right direction so
I can find how I need to modify my programs to complie with the upcoming

Thank you for the response. Unfortunatly I have already seen that site when
I was looking into why I was gettiing the "click to activate control" message
box. I am ok with that message box coming up it is just I have a problem
with all the internet explorer browsers closing when a control is in the web
page. I may be missing it but I do not see anything on any of those pages
discussing the closing of web pages. I am thinking from the way you
responded that this issue may not yet be addressed. I guess what makes me
curious is that microsoft said they were releasing the compatiablity patch to
allow time for developers to change thier code but I do not see any thing
specific on what needs to be changed.

Jason,
I am experiencing the same problem here. Did you already figured out
why this is happening.
Any hint would be greately appreciated.
