KB912919-x86 ELVU-EXE ERROR SET-up error

Hi:
I've been installing 'Security' Update and encountrered the following
message
after downloading.

KB912919-x86 ELVU-EXE. set-up error

and in the box:
" The version of Windows you have installed does not match the update
you are ttrying to install. "

In my recollecltion, I installed(but, not sure, ... ) some 'funcky' program
someone suggested through the Newsgroup. This might be cauing the problem?

The update you're seeking can be downloaded from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Suggest you download and save it, then close IE and all other open
programs and then install it. If it will not install, copy the update to
the root drive, usually C:\, then boot to Safe Mode, and install it from
there.

To start the computer in safe mode
