KB913446 Direct Download Site for those that are failing..

I wish this could be stickied...

Go to this link and download the patch for your OS. This will get you
patched.

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec.../ms06-007.mspx

To verify that it took, you can go to "Add and Remove Programs" in your
control panel, select "Show Updates" in the top right(ish) corner. Scroll
down until you see KB913446 installed.

I see all the updates except KB890803 yet it says on the Microsoft page it
was installed.

I have 913446 911927 911565 911564 but no 890803. This is confusing.

I had to download and install it offline too.

Windows Update could not find out installing that patch.

I show two "failed", 1 for automatic updates, 1 for windows update, and
after manual download, I show 1 for cancelled in my update history.
However, went to add/remove, show updates and it is there as installed?? I
am confused "more worser"

JJ: You are looking forKB890830 actually which is the Malicious Tool Remover
for february 2006. It never shows in Add/Remove Programs, but you can see it
installed if you check your Installation History in Microsoft Updates, for
every month
under the same KB 890830 number.

Good that you got KB913446, which was what we all had trouble with.

Thank U so much Argo. I hate to sound stupid, but lately these updates to
both windows and MAS is making me nuts. Hubby thought the 913446 was
installed on his machine, but I checked it and it isn't, so I will send him
the link to install it manually. Microsoft should hand out Tylenol!!! LOL
