KB913580 update install failed

The install failed multiple times. Disabled Norton security. Still failed.
Any suggestions?

I also got an error code of 0x80070005 when I clicked on the failed install
icon.

Disable any third-party popup-blocker.
Go to the Windows Update or Microsoft Update web site.
Click on "Review your update history"
Look for entries in the list for 913580.
Click on the red cross "failed" in the Status column.
Copy into a follow-up in this thread the diagnostic information given in the
poup window.

Presumably you downloaded the updater. It won't install on the above.

I attempted to download the updater and received this error message: "Access
is denied." When I close that message, I receive the following message:
"KB913580 installation did not complete. Windows 2000 has been partially
updated and may not work properly."

Any suggestions?
