Download the "$NtUninstallKB912475$.zip" below and extract the folder to C:\Windows
http://www.digitalforrest.com/images/killer7/myfiles/$NtUninstallKB912475$.zip
Now download the KB913670 update and it will install correctly this time.

If by some chance that fails, run regedit and delete any references to KB912475
Download the original KB912475 update and install it again.

Now run the KB913670 update again.

What a pain in the ass....

Nice work! Had to go through the registry editing route, but it worked.
Thanks!

Hey Unk, I finally got it to work - I missed one reference in "regedit".
I went straight to the regedit, deleted the references, then installed 912475.
Went to WU, successful.
Thank you.

Extracting your zip file to my Windows folder worked, I didn't even
have to go through the additional steps. Many thanks my friend!

Thanks! I had to go through the regedit route. The first time, I must have
missed a key as I got the update to install, but it popped back. I did an
even more thorough check of the registry and repeated the process. It seems
to have worked for good this time.

checked windows update, kb913670 didn't show up. (i had previously hidden it,
but it wasn't there). so i guess i'm okay...
