In my case I need to add KB914389 KB918439 & KB917953.
winxppro. All updates have been running fine until yesterday.
At first the updates would dl ok and then fail install with a 0x80070017
error.
Next, when I attempt to dl again from the update site, the dl itself fails
with
the same error. I've turned off nav. logged on as administrator and same
problem.
I've cleared the datastore folder. Same problem. I've manually dld the updates
and receive "Setup error" Data Error (crc) when trying to run them.
I copied the supposedly corrupt dld file to another xppro box on our network
and it runs fine. Pretty unlikely 6 files have crc errors anyway.
I'm at a loss as to what to try. Any help is appreciated in advance!
