KB917150 do I need it?

I have Works Suite 2006. According to KB917150, I do not need this patch.

Non-Affected Software:

. Microsoft Works Suite 2005

. Microsoft Works Suite 2006




But according to MSBA I do need this patch.

This is the second Bulletin this month where Microsoft has issued
contradictory information about who needs the patch.

This says that WORD 2002 needs the patch. Doesn't your Works Suite
2006 have Word 2002?

Yes, the Suite has Word 2002 and I saw that Word 2002 needed the patch but
then I read further down that Works Suite 2006 doesn't. To me that is
contradictory. If one part of a Suite needs something then you don't claim
the Suite doesn't need it...it does! The way Microsoft has written the
bulletin it would appear that STAND ALONE VERSIONS OF Word 2002 need the
patch but that the version of Word 2002 included in Works Suite 2004, 2005,
2006 does NOT need it.
