KB917283 won't install

Error when updating KB917283, .NET Framework 2.0 update. This update has
been downloaded to my computer, it goes through the motions, but says, "Can't
install." The update does not appear in my Add/Remove Programs list. Any
advice appreciated.

Thank you. Turned out to be an uninstall/reinstall of .NET 2, then running
the update.
