Looked for add ons but not sure exactly what I am looking for there (could
not find any add on listing on menu for internet exploer or in control
panel). The problem did resolve itself after I removed the patch; but, have
noted that I have a problem since I down loaded MSNBC's tool bar with the
desk top search -it effects outlook particularly badly in that it takes an
abnormal amout of time for it to open as well as emails to open. (tried
removing this desktop serch but it had no effect on outlook). Have a freind
that has windows 98 that has those tool bars added and they too appear to be
experiancing large delays in just about everything they do (clicking on
icons, email etc-theirs is much worse than mine) Did not have any problem
with internet exploer though until I added the kb917537 patch.
