KB920342 failed

I have Windows XP Pro & I can't get this update to complete. It comes back
failed everytime. I have never had problems with automatic updates before.

Hi Gloria,

There is probably a corrupted package of this update on your computer. All
update packages are stored in SoftwareDistribution folder. You can try
renaming it:

Click Start, Run, type: cmd and press Enter

--> net stop WuAuServ

--> Click Start, Run, type: %windir% and press
Enter.

--> In the opened folder, rename the folder
SoftwareDistribution to SDold.

--> Click Start, Run, type: cmd and press Enter.

--> net start WuAuServ.

--> Tried Windows Update again.

Download the update from here and save it, do *not* Run it -
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...8-4ED2582EBC7C

Close the browser and *any open programs*, then install it.
