KB923789 Update for Flash Player fails to install

This update repeatedly shows as installing, but then fails to install on my
MS Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 Version 2002 Sevice Pack 2

When I delved into the MS site further and tried to download it I got this
error code:

Installation Failure

Error Code: 0x643

Then a message that says the update isn't compatible with my version of the
flash player!

ANy ideas? I guess I could go to the download history list and tell it to
never list again, but why is it telling me I need this update?

Try uninstalling Adobe Flash Player:
http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14157
"How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control".
Then reinstall Adobe Flash Player:
http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
My advise is not accept Yahoo! Toolbar offer.
