KB928365 Install, a possible solution

This worked for me on two servers....

Try disabling the antivirus software.. The update (KB928365) installed
fine.. I rebooted..
No need to mess around with uninstalling and reinstalling .Net
Framework

If rebooting doesn't help, please see thread titled "[SOLUTION] You cannot
install KB928366 (.Net Framework 1.1 security update)".

I am using Symantec Corporate Edition, version 10.1.5000 on the servers
and 10.2.276 on the Vista clients..

MUCH thanks for the information, Dr. Jim. I'm surprised the Corporate
versions were the culprit. The versions intended for the Home User
do/can hinder updating but not always. I've seen systems that have
NAV/NIS, etc. installed that have never had an issue updating successfully.
On the other hand, I've also seen systems totally trashed from having
them installed.
