KB929399 fails to install

Running XP Home, SP2. I keep getting nagged to install KB929399, but it
repeatedly fails to install, with an error code of 0x8007F0DA.

Each time a repeat installation is attempted, I'm told that the download had
previously occurred, and that it was now attempting to install. Perhaps I
should remove that download (?), but how?

You cannot install some updates or programs
