I Installed the hotfix and now my printer doesn't work. I have a HP1200
Laserjet and have tried a number of different drivers. Probably all XP based.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Fixed it.?

I have the same problem with a Canon BJC 2100SP. Sadly, I don't have a fix
either...Isn't Vista great!?

May it RIP.

Go to Control Panel, Programs and Features, in left window pane click
on view installed updates, locate the one you think caused the
problem, right click to uninstall.

Have you checked the HP website for updated drivers? They have a driver
version 4.1 that was released on July 30, 2007 for that printer.

HP LaserJet 1200 Printer series - Download drivers and software - HP
Business Support Center:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport...&swEnvOID=2093

Reboot after you install the driver.

If this does not work, try uninstalling the update.

Open Control Panel / Programs and Features. In the Tasks Pane, click View
Installed Updates. Look for the "Update for Microsoft Windows (KB938979)".
Select that update and click the Uninstall Button.

If you are offered that update again, remove the check mark from the update.
Right click the update and select the Hide option.
