I have been ill and unable to keep my systems up to date until recently so I
start to update XP got to KB942830 and KB942831 they are trying to trash my
system by trying to reinstall themselves every time I shut down. any ideas
???????????
I have fixed it a bit by removing these two security updates but that leaves
me in the past on security updates for what they are worth. how do we know
if what MS say about security is true maybe its just a way of pushing new
O.S's . if I have to I will abandon MS and the internet to their bugs and
viruses and good riddance. to them I say.
I will not move on to vista until MS fix to stable XP and W2K I think the
updater software is buggy too.
maybe MS has lost the plot by bringing out too many new OS's

Yes, MS is truly evil and that's why they offer *no-charge* support with
issues with Security updates. That way they can wiretap your phone.
From both
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/942830 and
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/942831

Be sure to have someone check the phone for wiretapping after calling in
to the 'Evil Empire'.
