Hello,

After reading KB946202, I'm a bit confused. Does this apply to folks who do
not have WSUS 3 setup? In other words, I do not have WSUS configured, I have
XPsp2 installed in my environment and I DON'T want IE7 to deploy
automatically...do I have to worry about this?

Thanks!

KB946202 is only relevant to WSUS.

In a non-WSUS environment, provided you don't have Automatic Updates configured
to automatically install, you don't have anything to worry about. (If you do
have Automatic Updates configured to automatically install you probably already
have IE7!)

Harry.
