KB948109 does not install successfully on Vista with SQL2005 Devel

Does it need to be installed? It is not specifically listed in the Applies
to section in the knowledge base article, but obviously Windows update thinks
it applies...

Any help is appreciated!!

I had this problem too.

I had the services' startup type listed below set to "Disabled". Changed to
"Manual" and was able to successfully install the update.

SQL Server Active Directory Helper
SQL Server Browser
SQL Server VSS Writer
