Turn off Automatic Updates for now. Set it to manual.
Visit
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/, hide the updates after a custom
scan.
Turn back on automatic updates - but tell it to not download or install
until you tell it to. If it comes up again - check through the updates and
uncheck the ones you do not want. When you continue - it will ask if you
want to hide the ones you unchecked - tell it yes.
Then you can change the settings on AU back to whatever you desire.
Did you ever have any older versins of any office products installed? The
viewers even (any version of the Word viewer...)?
