KB972580 not installing on Vista

I'm getting a 80070643 error. I've checked my Osi.exe file and it's setup to
be automatic and started, so the help doesn't answer my questions.

I am having the exact same problem (same error) and have been for
weeks...maybe months. Very few updates have installed since I got this
laptop in July. I have done what "help" has told me and nothing has helped.
Any ideas???
