KB973035, KB974554, KB972580, KB974771 Failure

This is not the first posting on this but it has to be highlighted

I have shut down the Windows Installer service and then re-register it, no
joy reinstalled OSE.EXE run and then rerun ose.exe, tried safe mode all to no
avail.
Cleared all download files and IE history bla bla bla nothing working.

About 10 attempts both as a group and then updates singally stll no joy.

Anyone got the solution.

I also can not get these critical updates to install. Have multiple failed to
install attempts from running Update. I did go to Microsoft support website
and download/install them from there. Now when I query Update on my PC it
does not show them in the list of to be installed updates. My update history
does not report that they were installed. I did get a successful installed
message at the end of each of the individual install operations.

They're installed. The update history only includes updates installed via
Windows Update, not updates that are manually installed - this is the expected
behaviour.
