KB975467 Trouble

Hello,

I am running Windows Vista SP2, 32-bit operating system and am having
trouble installing the latest security update for windows vista (KB975467)
and get the following error code 800b0100. Someone please help!

Have KB955430 and KB947821 both been installed by now?

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your
subscription current? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)?
What third-party firewall (if any)? Were any of these applications running
in the background when you installed SP2?

Has a(another) Norton or McAfee application ever been installed on this
machine (e.g., a free-trial version that came preinstalled when you bought
it)?

> I have the same problem as derek, 32-bit vista SP2, I have Symantec Anti-virus but I'm sure if it has a firewall, so I can't tell if a third party firewall was running in the background when the update was installed.
KB955430 is installed but KB947821 isn't , Norton was preinstalled but it
expired.
The installation fails every time I try to install the update.

To avoid confusion, please begin a new thread about your specific problems.
State your IE version and full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; Vista SP2)
in your first post.
