I am running Vista and have similar issues. My taskbar no longer shows
network, volume or power icons, and when I go to taskbar in control panel and
recheck the boxes, it stays only for awhile and then disappears again.
Also, windows explorer does not work properly. I am trying to install
drivers for a wireless printer and have the disk, but windows explorer will
not read my disk.
I have restarted the computer a number of times, but this does not help. I
would welcome your assistance!
I do have McAffee installed on my computer, and it is updated.
