KB982331 installation problem

I am not sure what is going on here. I tried to install this first time
along with other last Tuesday and 'Update' came back saying 'KB982331 could
not be installed because publisher could not be verified. Then I went on to
Microsoft download center and downloaded it, went to install it and it said
'it was already installed' but it is still listed under 'new updates
available'.

Reinstallation goes round doing the same cycle.
