I keep on being kicked out of Live Messenger

Every time I want to connect, it connecst me, only to be kicked out of in
within seconds. I get some message that it wants to install something and
then kicks me out. I find this very frustrating to be honest, and have not
got a clue why it is doing that. Does someone has any suggestions?

It wants to install exactly what? The exact text of the error message would
help.

The problem is that the box (it's not an error message) only shows for a
split second, and its near on impossible to find out what it says, but after
trying several times, it appears to say that it wants to install windows live
messenger, then the message box disappears and at the same time I get kicked
out. I have reinstalled WLM but the problem stays the same. I am sorry if I
come across as not very competent, but perhaps there is a bug?? somewhere. I
do appreciate your help in this
