On my wishlist for coming generations of live messenger is that try keep the
application clean and small. The instant messeging program should not be a
100Gb program that costs a lot off performance. At least, make all flashy
blinking things go away if you want to under preferences. And please, don't
add toolbars by default.

Greetings,

I crushed my teeth and installed AIM Triton the other night.. during the installer the
typical toolbar etc. options were there but were -off- by default. I was really impressed by
that.

The actual application on the other hand, a tad less impressed but it's alright.

Normal Aim does install the toolbar, it also installs AOL Spyware and
connection wizard.
