Keep getting error 8007F0CC when d/l SP2

Anyone know whats causing this error? thx

i tried installing SP2 also and it suddenly stoped saying it failed....and an
installation Error Code: 8007F0CC .....i don't understand either....i'll just
wait until ps2 gets more stable....!

Error 0x8007f0cc is:

STATUS_KERNEL_NONSTD
The core system file (kernel) used to start this computer is not a
Microsoft Windows file. The Service Pack will not be installed.


If you have a modifies boot screen or something like that, this
might be the cause:
