Keep getting the update message after I already updated

I updated my Servicepack 2 but I keep getting the same message over and over
and the update comes back on the taskbar. My it shows that the update was
successful and I have the full use of the firewall and the anti-virus
software. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how to stop it? I
want to continue to receive any other updates so I should not turn the
notification off.

I have this problem too. It's been going on for a couple of weeks - the same
3 updates keep popping up - very annoying. Anyone have ideas ?
