Keep losing background setting

I recently reinstalled windows xp sp2, and reinstalled windows live
messenger. i keep lising my background which i set as my default one. is
there something going on lately on the server end causing this? for a couple
of days, there were not even any backgrounds showing to chose from, but now
their back.

my backgrounds are back now, and my choice for a default one seems to be
staying in place, so looks like whatever problem was going on is fixed
now.....disregard.

i spoke too soon.........they're gone again. any ideas? msn problem on
their side?

Backgrounds are stored on your PC and have nothing to do with the server -- so the problem
exists on your PC.

ok,,,well i lost them all,,,,,and one of my contacts also lost them a short
time ago also. how do you get them back? i uninstalled windows live
messenger, and reinstalled it, and that didn't get them back. any other
suggestion on how to get my default backgrounds back?
