Keeping Date Current

I am having problems keeping my date current - I use Windows 98 - everytime
turn on my computer, it goes back to the correct month and day but always the
year 2000 - anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Christie;
If the time resets while powered off, the most likely cause is the
motherboard battery.
Most common is CR-2032, about the size of a nickel, less than $5.
Usually fairly simple to replace.
Check your motherboard/computer manual and/or contact the manufacturer for
details on changing.
