keeping logs of conversations in msn messenger

My friend is keeping logs of her daughters chats on msn but she thinks her
daughterhas found the logs and is deleting the ones that she does not want
her to see is there a way of getting the logs to save to a file on her home
network (2 PCs) that can be locked so her daughter cant get accsess. Also
does anyone know any safe sniffer programme for msn messenger that will
acheive the same perpus

Maybe the better option for your friend is to have a good talk about
trust with her daughter. And the things she may not do om the internet.
