I realise this is a bit of a petty one - however, I'd be grateful if anyone
could offer some advice.

When I used outlook express, I could open an email, print it and it would
remain open so I could press the 'next' arrow and continue througfh all my
emails, printing one by one.

I just bought a new PC with Vista and Windows Mail. Now when I open an email
and choose 'print', that email is immediately minimised to the task bar.

I hope this is making some sense....

Can I configure something to keep it maximised, allowing me to then press
the 'next' arrow to work through my emails one-by-one?

Windows Mail is a program, you don't "sign up".
You can use it to access your SBCGlobal email account.

If you want to create a Hotmail or Live email account, go to

Same as you did for newsgroups. Set up your sbcglobal.net and other email
addresses as "mail accounts" instead of "newsgroup accounts". Get the mail
server info from your ISP or search the I-net for them. In a search bar
enter something like, sbcglobal mail servers (and similar for other
emails), That usually helps to find the info. Or they may have it on their
Help / Support, FAQ pages at their website.

No sign-up required, but you must set up a mail account in Windows
Mail. Use the settings given by your ISP:
